She is so right about the “telling a story” aspect of audio drama and audio books. Even though I am more of a listener than ever due to eyesight issues and audio books are quite prosaic for me, I will never lose that sense of curling up and saying, “tell me a story, please?’ Ms. Rosenblat, Simon Vance, Scott Brick, Davina Porter, Stefan Rudnicki, John Lee — all have given me hours and hours of pleasure and delight.
I really like Barbara Rosenblat who has a great audio voice and has done some great audio work. I saw the performance at the Explorers Club and she was great at driving the story along.
