On May 19, 2010 NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous.testified before the Texas state Board of Education. The state is poised to vote on a new set of textbook standards for Texas students that the NAACP fears will erase key parts of civil rights history from required curriculum. The proposals have drawn fire from all quarters. Earlier in the week President Jealous and former US Education Secretary Rod page–an official in the George W.     real simple. texas changes it’s education to support its racist, evangelical values and then all their kids get denied access to colleges and universities who do not accept the K-12 courses. of wait, they can get in to bible colleges and unaccredited “christian” schools. thus the stupid are kept down… or so we can hope.
