  1. I bought this book because I am a sports fan & love anything sports related. This is truly an inspiring book for sports fans and non-sports fans, men and women, adults and teens alike. There is something in there for everyone. I find it amazing that the author was able to get interviews with all of these great coaches.

The book reveals great insights into how and why these successful coaches are successful. These insights can be applied to everyone in all aspects of life. There are some great quotes by the coaches also. I cannot say enough good things about this book. It was an easy, enjoyable read.

This would make a great Christmas gift, hostess gift AND/OR coffee table book. I already have my coffee table edition. I am buying this book for a lot of people on my Christmas list. I’ll also buy a few extra copies for those I may need a gift for but forgot to buy.

I purchased this book while I was searching for a “golden nugget” for a speech I was preparing for high school students. What I found was an entire gold mine of inspirational quotes and ideas! I truly enjoyed this book, and found many bits and pieces that I will share with others. I’ve already purchased a gift copy, and have shared mine with several others. I would highly recommend “How To Succeed In The Game of Life” to high school and college coaches, teachers, counselors, ministers, and parents….anyone who is in the business of working with young people and advising them as they navigate the difficult road to their future. There’s plenty within for the “older folks” who need to be re-inspired in their own lives as well.

  3. I actually heard Christian Klemash doing a radio interview where he talked about this inspiring book and about 2 days later I was at the book store. This book is helping me try to figure out where I want to go and how I may get there. I recently just had my second back operation in 5 years. I will probably not be able to work in my profession again but with this book, I am hoping to succeed in other areas of my life. I can definitely use some of the philosphies that Christian has pulled from these great coaches, pull them together and push myself forward with confidance and believe in whatever it is I choose to do. Thanks Mr. Klemash.

  4. I have never read a more inspirational book in my life. Before, I never realized how much other people have struggled the way I have in life, and have actually succeeded! It was great for me to see that and to know that there are other people in the world with great adversity in their life and have come out on top due to hard work and great leadership. This book isn’t for just sports fans, it’s for all who are looking for great advice in the real world and need a little tap on the back saying that everything is and will be okay! This book is great for all ages and for any occupation!

  5. Saw this book on Amazon and thought it looked like my sort of book (junior high coach 19 years). Format is just too chopped up. Some of the coaches were of no interest to me. If you want John Wooden’s view buy his books. The little write ups after each quote wore me out.
