I am a thirteen year old girl who likes to read. My aunt bought this book for me and I liked it a lot. It is about a girl my age who lived in the 1970′s and who was poor and had to collect pop bottles. It is a good story!

Not everyone has everything handed to them, not everyone has toys to keep themselves busy….a great book about life struggles. Very appropriate for my 6th grader.
