This book is very informative for someone who doesn’t know anything about computers to those who are pretty knowledgable such as myself. I learned a few new things from this book which was bought for a class, but other than that I wouldn’t have bought it for the simple fact I already knew most of what was in the book, but the exercises are helpful for beginners.

I used this book to take and pass the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) exams. The book is well written and has just enough information without getting bogged down in minor details. I love the layout of this book, as it is set up so each section corresponds to a specific IC3 exam (Computing Fundamentals, 2007 Key Applications, or Living Online). The quizzes in the back of every chapter are helpful as well. Overall, a great buy.

This book was very helpful in my class. It easily explains about computers how they work and how to use software, such as; Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word. The excercises in the back were great! This book was very helpful and informative.

I liked it! The inside of the book was in good condition. The only things that I don’t like are: the mail carrier didn’t take good care of the package, and it became folded. Second, the CD wasn’t very good.
