The 1950′s was a very industrious decade. Great inventions, the suburbs and baby boomers all came from the 50′s but was that all that happened? I want people to educate themselves about the past and not to accept what is given to them in white washed history books. The high point is yet to come.
The high point of America?
@Nakakan1993 You think what you want
@Deader87 yeah…you’re ignorant opinion..
Anyone else see the nuke go off at 3:02
How were the 1950′s “diverse” simply because lots of babies were born?
That word gets thrown around gratuitiously way too much, as if to add some sort of value to anything at all since we all know “diversity” is a STRENGTH. ( bullocks)
“Diverse” this and “diverse” that. Screw their “diversity”.
And who really needed the “sexual revolution” of the 60′s anyway? It looks to me that peope were having PLENTY of sex before all that! 77,000,000 babies? You don’t get that from whistling dixie.
“Multiculturalism” is no doubt an anti-white movement. Absolutely. Look at how many people here ( I presume who are white) feel they have to qualify their comments by first saying “I’m not racist…but”. Stop worrying about being racist or perceived as such. White males need to reach down and grab their balls, remind themselves what they are ( or once were) and call these brainwashed left wing liberal idiots out. I hope Teddy Kenndy is rotting in hell for his 1965 immigration bill.
dont wanna be racist but once blacks got freedom everything started going downhill
crime increased drug use increased more projects were created. i lived in canarcie
as a child and we got robbed so many times black people would have gangwars

me as a student kids were there pants low and talk stupid and listen to this
horrible music i wn lv in 50
@elrincondelcine Yes, Emmit Till was horribly beaten by several men who were nothing but pure evil monsters. I’m a whait woman and when I read that story I had tears of fury at these men. I feel that we are getting classified as people with no hearts at all. Hollywood is a big contributor to this kind of thinking. We need to start boycotting movies to send a message that they can’t control the thinking of our citizens.
@elrincondelcine Thank you for your insight and personal email. You have it exactly right. This is actually a form of bigotry–to stereotype white people as bigoted murderers. My mother-in-law is German and was 10 years old when WWII ended. Her father hid Jewish people and her whole family’s lives were threatened because of it. But he did it anyway. She hated Hitler. Yet, when she moved to the US after marrying my father-in-law, someone burned a swastika in her front yard grass
I know how you mean. I think its too bad that white folks are under scrutiny when it comes to race-based issues. I think its horrible that you have to defend and prove you’re not a racist. The is total BS. Racism is the same in every culture. Its the establishment of an arbitrary privilege based hierarchy. Thank you for your comments.
Here’s a short excerpt of what wikipedia has on him:
Emmett Louis “Bobo” Till (July 25, 1941 – August 28, 1955) was an African American boy from Chicago, Illinois, who was murdered at the age of 14 in Money, Mississippi, a small town in the state’s Delta region, after reportedly whistling at a white woman. The murder of Emmett Till was noted as one of the leading events that motivated the American Civil Rights Movement. The main suspects were acquitted, but later admitted to the murder.
great video, some errors, but can anyone tell me what the picture at 2:53 is (i know its a human) like maybe a body from a aftermath of a nuclear explosion ? i don’t know, can someone tell me whats going on ?
@McClvre
My point is the same … The video in no ways draws some kind of revolution contrast to the 50′s … it’s showed the bad elements of a decade that was overwhelming fantastic!
@elrincondelcine
Not sure I follow? Class’ism’ is not defined by any set pattern of people … thus is totally unrelated to race. English butlers in American are not a struggling people. And as pointed out … there isn’t forced servitude by anyone and the jobs are there for someone to take or not take. The concern with class needs to much more be highlighting the disturbing trend of a disappearing middle class. Every society will find something somewhere to have it’s own ” ism ” .
Hmmmmm …. I’m just not sure what is trying to get across. The contrast from the terrible aspects of the 1950′s do not in even the slightest way take away from the greatness and what I would agree is the near perfection of that decade. Did bad things occur? Of course! Things happen and occur in every society and time period … do I think the 50′s in comparison to every other decade rank high above … of course! I love the 50′s … not because I’m ignorant of problems but as a whole!
Every era has it’s imperfections, but if I could go into my time machine I would go back to the 1950s. Such an “innocent” time.
YT: LOST COASTLINES: 1959 …. I am trying to create the TV series, you can read synopsis under the screen … all my best
Are you kidding? Don’t you realize that this “multiculturalism” schtick the liberals chant is based on an anti-white movement? I grew up in white America in the 50s and we had no contact with many people outside of our families and neighbors. But our family NEVER uttered negative comments about people of other races. Yet, now, because I am white, I am called a racist by people who don’t know who I am. Racism is human; not white or even race-based. Quit lecturing 79lucatoni.
@Alliesingsbway Agreed!
@McClvre I feel exactly the same way, and back then, you didn’t have to worry about being robbed or getting shot like you do today.
